Exclusive Synthesis & Catalysts
The Exclusive Synthesis & Catalysts business unit focuses on the custom manufacturing of chemical catalysts, advanced pharmaceutical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients. Through its global network, this business offers seamless services from lab-scale synthesis development to commercial-scale production under strict confidentiality.
Its Exclusive Synthesis business line has a proven track record in the contract and custom manufacturing of a wide range of small-molecule intermediates and APIs for the pharmaceutical industry. Its multi-purpose facilities in North America and Europe are operated in compliance with cGMP and are inspected by the FDA.
The Catalysts business line is also a leader in catalytic solutions, providing all-around services for the life sciences, fine chemicals, industrial chemicals, intermediates and polymer industries. Specific capabilities include the development and manufacture of precious metal powder catalysts, activated base-metal catalysts, fixed-bed and fluidized-bed catalysts and olefin polymerization catalyst components. In addition, highly specialized ligands (including chiral ligands) and homogeneous metal-complex catalysts are commercially available.
Initiators’ organic peroxides are used in manufacturing polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and acrylic polymers, and in crosslinkers to add strength and chemical resistance to various rubber products. |
